Terry Jones is an avid outdoorsman, with fly fishing as his main passion. Terry took up the long rod about 12 years ago and has been an addict ever since. While a native to Illinois, Terry "grew up" fly fishing southwest Wisconsin, where he taught himself to fly fish on the spring creeks.
There, Terry quickly honed his skills. Then seeking to expand his knowledge and experiences he ventured west, where he engaged the "Big Waters"of Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Outside his annual trip west, Terry continues to fish the trout streams of Wisconsin and Michigan. Without being ostentatious, Terry is truly "one of the best" for the area, but he will maintain that he is forever learning.
Four years ago Terry attended the Hyde Outfitters Guide School. Terry is a licensed guide for the State of Wisconsin. He has worked successfully building his guiding business, with the interest in sharing the sport and teaching others the way of fly fishing.
Terry is a member of The Federation of Fly Fishers and Trout Unlimited. He practices Catch and Release fishing
